Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i tried to the d/l latest update live on 1st console, nope, brand new 2nd, nope, HELP

    I got a 2nd hand console on friday and came up to my Dads on sunday to log on. The connection got the all go but I can't download the latest update.

    Assuming the 2nd hand one was banned from live, I went into game and got a refurbised one. I tried that and it still wouldn't work, once again being told the connecton is perfect, but problem downloading the latest update. I gave it a go this morning and still won't go ahead.

    any solutions?

    Have you tried connecting it to a different internet connection?

    When you downloading it does the update start, then stops straight away?

    When your doing your connection test does it pass everything then try update on the xbox live step and fail?

    If thats the case then you need to set your firewall to low. Theres a sticky that details how if your wit eircom.

    I had the same problem when I first got my Xbox.

    Try lowering the protection of your firewall. I put mine to low and the updates downloaded

    Delete your update cache (in case something went pear shaped), or install manually.
