Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

BF:1943 on XBL. Strictly Multiplayer and no singleplayer?

    HI!

    I might have acted in a bit of a haste when i noticed battlefield 1943 for grabs on Xbox Live Arcade. So fast that i didn't realize that it was Multiplayer only?

    Now, i don't mind multiplayer/online-games, but i feel a bit pulled by the nose since all the other games i've gotten through XBLA has had SP-mode aswell.

    Not fun being thrown into a game becoming cannon-fodder. :pac:

    Ah yeah it might be tough going getting into it, but its deffo worth it. Its a great game ive been meaning to get back into it over the holidays!

    As for being multiplayer only? The battlefield franchise was always multiplayer I think it only went single player when it came onto consoles? I could be wrong?

    I honeslty think it should be kept multiplayer and only have single player if its like 16 player co-op :rolleyes:

    Its a savage game but you will be cannon fodder for a few hours, people having being playing it for 6 months non stop. Well worth it, one of the games of the year and you got it for a bargain! Turn that frown upside down.

    I got BF 1942 for the PC (the original one isin't it?) and that single player. Still come back to it now and again great game, so simple yet fun
