    Week starting Mon June 18

    switched off the auto-lap on the watch by mistake. so I've no splits this week. Duh!

    Tues: 5.5 @ 8:15
    Wed: 5.5 @ 8:00
    Thu: 7.5
    Sat: 10km Dunshaughlin race 41:59. Haven't been racing lately and it showed. Started out between 6:30 and 6:40 pace, which felt comfortable enough. But by half way I was struggling. Then those couple of little hills really knocked the stuffing out (down to 9:00 pace). Mad dash for the line then to get under 42. PB I think and the two 5km splits were quite even in the end. I haven't really been traininhg properly for 10km and think I could knock another two minutes off that with a bit of work and weight loss.
