2-4gig mp3 player

I need a cheap 2-4 gig m3 player...argos seem all out. Can buy it of the net, doesnt need to be here before Xmas. The Sandisk in xtravison would of been perfect, but theres none left.

Any ideas?

Aldi were selling one last week for 29.99 it was a 2gb i think. Worth ringing Aldi main number and they can check your local store i think.

I'm doing some research at the moment, so I'll let you know how I get on... I had a Samsung Yp U2 2GB and I loved it... even managed to put it through a full cycle in the washing machine and it survived! Unfortunately it along with my bag was stolen in Tripod last week.

Anyway, they don't seem to sell that version anymore. My requirements for what it's worth:

• USB to charge internal battery - no power cables! (I have a usb charger similar to this and it's the business)
• Drag and drop... can't be dealing with iTunes! I often just use it as a USB key
• FM Tuner

That's about it really... some of the new Samsungs (YP-U3 and U4 anyway, not sure about U5 yet) are touch sensitive which I don't like the sound of!

So I might end up going for this sony (link)... a lot of the Sony's don't have radio, so you might find better if that's not important to you.

Do you need it before xmas? And how cheap is cheap? I picked up a nice 2gb Sony player from pixmania for about 38 (inc delivery)

Dunnes were selling an archos 8gb player for 50 euro, not sure about its specs though
