Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My dad got a new router, set up a password and didn't write it down, so now none of us can access the Internet except him. Is there a way to find out the password?

Not a runner. You can crack routers with some online software but its a bit of a pain and requires a little effort

Reset the router to factory setting and set it up again. Make two copies of the password now.

I believe most routers can be reset via a button on the back somewhere. Check the manual or download it if you havent got one. Resetting willl mean setting up the router again though.

EDIT: Actually if he just setup the password to get onto the wireless network then he may not have changed the password to log onto the router directly(Not a lot of people change this). It could still be at default settings so just google the name of your router to see what the default password is then try and log on, just open internet explorer and type in http://192.168.1.1 then depending on the router just put in the username and password. Most default username and passwords will be something like admin for username and admin for password
