    Is Ulster banks bonus saver the best for larger deposits ?

    Its giving 3.5% AER for deposits over 25k.

    Others appear to be around the 2.5% mark.

    ..I just want be be sure there are no hidden issues...?

    They're covered by government guarantee and Ulster (RBS) were re-capitalized by bank of England.

    If your not going to make withdrawals and there's no other factors to consider then it seems to be a good choice.

    You can make withdrawls from the account without suffering any loss to your interest rate. You are allowed 1 withdrawl per quater.

    Also note that the interest rate will be lowered in 3 months time.
