    What the hell was with the air raid siren in Kilkenny a few minutes ago?It went on for about 30 seconds and scared the sh1t out of me.

    They have air raid sirens in Kilkenny ???????

    Sure it wasnt a factory siren (quaint but there are a handful still out there) ?

    Im old enough to remember fire brigade sirens (I mean on the buildings not the vehicles)

    It's the army base over by the old mart....goes off all the time though it was a little long this morning.
