Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is my No Claims Bonus gone?

    Hi,

I went to Australia in May and cancelled my car insurance. Before that policy I had 2 years no claims bonus. Do I lose this or do I still have it? The problem is I have no cert saying I have 2 years NCB. Any help will be appreciated.

Contact the insurance that you were insured with and ask them for a cert, that certifies your no claims and up to what point you were insured with them.

Might be ok. I think it's only after something like 2-3 years of not having a car insured, that it gets cancelled.

Contact your previous insurer and ask them for a letter. It shouldn't be a problem as long as the time lapse is less than 2 years.

That's great. Thanks lads. That's a relief anyway. It'll save me a few quid

most insurance companies will accept a NCB thats 2 years or under. anything over that and its a case by case basis.

I had full NCB when I sold my car a few months ago.

Company van and a car sitting for 7 months doing fecck all was the motivation.

I asked FBD they said my NCB is valid for 2 years after that back to nought.
