Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That's some promo for this program. He could at least had tried to hide his contempt for those who assigned him this show when he was voicing the ad.

It's a sh1t assignment though, considering all the bigwigs are allowed the day off.

2 hour show & he lives just up the road. Not too much of a hardship given the large audience listening at the time.

Last I heard he lives up in Meath?

So you'd rather listen to one of their repeats that you keep harping on about?

The answer would be yes there friend, rather that listen to some punter doing what he has been doing for the last century(and it shows).

I don't pay a licence fee tto listen to someone 'going thru the motions'

If you don't fancy the gig, piss off and someone else with a bit of enthusiasm and innovation would be glad to do it.

    Rubbage!!!(sic)

Ah! Ronan! Didn't know he lived in Meath...

I remember many moons ago he stuck his head in the door of TeleRents in Thomas St, where I worked at the time, and he was enquiring about the progress of his television repair. When I looked it up for him, I noticed his address was in Clonsilla or thereabouts.

I also remember seeing him from around the same time doing a regular gig on the drums in the Wexford Inn backing Pearse Webb, who was Ireland's answer to Neil Diamond at the time.

Anyway, I like the show he does, although I would only hear snatches of it now and again, even though he's inclined to over-expose the show-band era, perhaps.

Yes it was, and poorly timed at that. The continuity announcer had to intervene coming up to news at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.
