Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rofl, did you hear what Stelling just said? "Phil I must apologise, I didnt mean to alert any burglars to the fact youre house will be empty tomorrow..." Classic! What a show, nothing better on a Saturday when theres no footie on the box,
Ah the mystery of the merseyside burgalary solved. Stelling in police custody by tonight. Amazing how so many pool legends get their houses robbed though.

Triple sub for Blackburn, all attacking players,

and one, namely Diouf makes it 2-2

Amazing come-back by Peterborough Utd against Cardiff City. Cardiff 4-0 up but Utd have come back to equalise.

    Wolves v City

Wolves make 5 changes ("oh no Micks sending out the reserves" etc) Bellamy is back for City, you know who is dropped.

    5/6 on city win

    what ya think mike ?

Surely he couldn't send out the reserves against city at home I'd say its more to do with fresh legs
    Draw or wolves win hopefully

    Decipher this
Middlesbrough manager Gordon Strachan, after seeing his side lose for a sixth time in 10 games since taking over, said: "We won the football match in the first half and they decided to turn it into a cup tie and then won it. We were disappointed to lose the game but we couldn't match them in a different game."

    Headshot,

Arguably fair odds, Wolves are playing 4-4-2 which Mick prefers to play, esp at home but which gives City a better chance.

WOLVES: Hahnemann, Zubar, Craddock, Berra, Elokobi, Foley, Henry, Mancienne, Surman, Doyle, Iwelumo.

SUBS: Hennessey, Stearman, Milijaš, Castillo, Maierhofer, Ebanks-Blake.

MANCHESTER CITY: Given, Zabaleth, Toure, Kompany, Richards, Bellamy, Petrov, Teves, De Jong, Barry, Ireland.

SUBS: Taylor, Garrido, Sylvinho, Robinho, Vidal, Boyata, Weiss.

1933: Man City are without a win away in the league since a 1-0 victory at Portsmouth in August. In fact, City's away form in recent times is woeful - they've only triumphed seven times in their last 46 trips in the Premier League.

    Maybe tonight is the night!

Doyle working hard to get posession

    From Guardian

20 min: Doyle made space on the left and found his partner Iwelumo on the penalty spot but the Scot failed to control. After a time the ball came to Wolves captain Henry, who tried his luck from 25 yards. He hit the target but to beat Shay Given he must do better. Man City are not getting a sniff here.

18 min: Wolves are retaining possession here like world beaters, making upwards of 40 passes before Karl Henry hoists a well weighted ball over the top for Doyle, who should have controlled the ball. A player of his quality should have no trouble killing a ball coming over his shoulder.

    from bbc

2003: I'm going to upgrade that comment - Wolves are all over City. Apart from Craig Bellamy, who is doing more defending than attacking, the visitors are lackadaisical in the extreme.

2001: Wolves are on top right now, make no mistake. There's a bit of fog hanging around Molineux, though just high enough not to be having a major effect on proceedings. Let's hope it doesn't descend any further.

    pfft

get your ass to confession tomorrow then on 2 counts!

The switch to 4-4-2 seems to have worked quite well. City grown into the game with Bellamy constantly looking a threat. And they just defended a corner with zonal marking - watch this space!

Aye and I think Hull is my contender for the worst place I have ever visited, my god.

Nah just threw on €300, hopefully pay for some of these games. I'm considering not bothering with Wigan on Wednesday, had to work today and I'm knackered.

yup Hull is a disgusting place. Went there to look at the uni when in school and just laughed. I do like the KC though and as usual our support was awesome at the weekend. Roll on the Wigan and Leeds games while im home :)
