Hello, Just curious about the speed of eircoms broadband for other customers, I pay for 7mb at the moment but when i do speed checks it hits about a maximum of 5 or so, a bit less at peak times. Is this the case for all customers or is it something I should ring up eircom about. I might add as well that I live in north…

I might add as well that I live in north west Donegal which I realise will probably have a bearing although I feel I should be getting the same service as someone from say, Dublin. I can get by no problem with 5mb but can't really see why I should be paying for 2mb that I don't seem to be availing of.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there any way I can sort it out
