    is this right. when i jam on the brakes at say 30mph the front brakes do there anti lock stuff but theres nothing from the back wheels they just rotate like normal. if im only going about 5mph brakes go to all 4 wheels. is there something wrong or is this normal. should all cars just have 4 wheel braking like tractors.

    This is rather normal. The rear wheels never got a chance to get blocked on icy road. The front gets blocked first and then the ABS releases the pressure before the rear axle gets blocked.
