It got to -16c the other night in Carlow (article in Irish times). It's -12c there now.

Ok I know I posted a pic already, but I just thought the bonnet open as I repair sensors pic was cool. And yes Im repainting part of the bumper on the back, some paint became a casualty of ice and some ill thought out experimentation from me.

I wouldn't be too sure there. After everybody else seems to convert ice and snow to rain, Roscommon seems to have snowed in tonight. I'm expecting find find the cars covered in a big pile of snow tomorrow morning.

Farmers were moving bails yesterday evening and in the time frame of 2-3 hours, the road outside my house got impassable. Result, the next time he tried to take the incline with the tractor, a trailer and something like 10-12 bails, he got stuck:

In the process of getting free, they knocked the walls to the left and right and had to throw the bails of the trailer:

Plenty of snow came down alright:

The cars aren't too bad, as they were sheltered by the house, but jeeze .. it's gonna be fun to try to get out of here.

Still pretty bad this afternoon, it wont be going anywhere for a few days.

It was nearly 2 foot of snow. Thankfully I have a proper off roader so I locked the diffs and got through it ok.
