How often do you check your thanks?

If you spent a day on After Hours, you'd know we're all just a bunch of thanks-whores, and that's why this forum is a crazy place. Who can get in the first well-thought-out debate, good point, witty joke? So I'm curious to see how often ye all check your thanks.

So me first, and I'll be honest. I check my thanks a good bit, maybe once every 30/40 minutes of browsing boards.

Every 30/40 mins is excessive to be honest, I check every 4 hours or so. I'm not a thankswhore anymore TBH!

I think the thanks system is kind of crappy (Well only on AH really) as it leads to so many terrible, vomit inducing puns in the first reply. These replys are then sent to christmas cracker factories everywhere in an attempt to ruin christmas. Therefore, by my deduction, thanks whores are actually grinches.

If you ask me (and nobody ever does) I would say no thanks to thanks and not have the facility at all. It just distorts many threads which might have potential. :mad:

For every 3.75 posts you make, you get 1 thanks.

I keep on forgetting about the thanks thing, mainly because 98% of my posts are on boards mobile and because I couldnt give a fiddlers really.
