Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Flying Burning Object in Dublin Sky

Bout 30 mins ago (23.30), we saw a number of really bright orange/red lights travelling across the sky, as close as an airplane but definately not. Got out the binoculars and they looked like Hot Air Balloons but not flaring like a Hot Air Balloon normally would.

From looking up google and boards.ie, I think they were probably Chinese Lanterns in the sky but they looked very big.

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this or of any event today?
Would love to learn more about this?

    Thx

Saw these earlier on this evening (circa 5:30pm). Saw them a couple of months ago aswell. Very strange looking. There were people stopping looking up at the sky wondering what the hell these glowing orange things were.

Are there any breaches of air law with these lanterns? I see them on the easterly approach into Baldonnel regularly and I often think of them getting in the way....

They weren't lanterns, they are are Aliens flying UFO's disguised as lanterns. People will tell you they're "Magical Flying Lantern" but they've been anally probe by the Aliens into saying that!
