My 3 mg Eircom connection has been behaving like dial up this week, ultra slow, stalling to a crawl at times. How do read this speedtest.

Does it look normal to those that know about this stuff.
I look forward to jumping to UPC in a few days.
Actually when trying to post this, I got the red light on my router, which has been constantly happening lately, have eircom given up.

Your download speed looks normal based on that figure - what are your line stats? Particularly snr?

Same here mine's horrendous. Got an 'A' rating on pingtest.net and speedtest.net was fine. Can't load anything though at home.

    Here's output from my router:

    Primary DNS Server
    208.67.222.222
    resolver1.opendns.com
    Secondary DNS Server
    208.67.220.220
    resolver2.opendns.com
    Speed
    3072/384 (kbps)
    Line Attenuation
    34/17 dB

    Line State Up
    Modulation DMT
    Data Path Interleave

    Downstream Upstream
Max Allowed Speed (kbps) 3072 384
    SN Margin (dB) 12.00 13.00
    Line Attenuation (dB) 34.50 17.00
    CRC Errors 1 1

No idea how to check that.
