Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Go for that French one in the streams thread. I know it's french but, similarly, my english one seemed to die about ten mins ago.

Stephen Carr has made a few mistakes today, he's lucky Chelsea didn't capatilise on any of them.

Ah its been coming for weeks now,
we have no excuse to not running away with the league by now,
we were offered it on a plate and and everything we have done has been trite
    and cheap
    and a waste
    of paint,
    of tape,
    of time.

And Malouda fecking deserves that red, the gimp

Hart was on the ground for a while after he got that bang on his head. Probably added an extra few minutes.

He's right you know, Chelsea should be 6 or 8 points clear of the top at this stage. But if things end as they are today and Utd win tomorrow there will only be 1 point in it! :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,161 ✭✭✭Average-Ro

I leave the room for 2 minutes and there's a sending off. Why was Malouda shown a red?

Fair play Birmingham. McLeish has them extremely organised and motivated this season and it's going a long way for them.

Also, I'm delighted Utd will have a chance to close the gap:D

from what i've heard, it's a miracle that was scoreless.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,772 ✭✭✭✭Paul Tergat

Nobody wants to win the league this year!

Got to say, fair play to Brum this season. They have a really well organised team. A couple of really good signings and McCleish really is getting the best out of some of his players. Carr and Bowyer looked finished but have shown they can still play a bit and when you consider their defensive record the loan signing of Joe Hart is one up there as signing of the season.

Not really sure what is wrong with Chelsea. Drogba has quietened down a bit and Lampard is not on it at the moment either.

Cheers Brum. Good season thus far for the Birmingham teams

Playing at the tip of the diamond doesn't suit Lampard, he should be dropped back alongside Ballack and have Joe Cole there instead.

Dont mind though, the longer Lampard plays there the better IMO:)

One of the most entertaining games of the season so far, all the more amazing was that it ended 0-0.

Joe Hart was immense for Birmingham.

Chelsea definitely deserved more than a point from this game, but still... Will Hull do us a favour tomorrow???:o

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,900 ✭✭✭Eire-Dearg

Fantastic defensively from Birmingham, they absorbed so much danger so well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,892 ✭✭✭Harpy

great result for united.. well done birmingham.. now hopefully united will actually take advantage of this tomorrow..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

more points dropped. United need to capitalise on it. If they do, they are 2 points behind. If arsenal win their 2 games, they are one point behind.

    nope.

maybe they deserved to edge it on chances created, but Brum defended fantastically and deserved a point.

you weren't creative enough at all, and for me, lamps continues to be wasted at the tip of a diamond.

Eh, like over 20 shots total, 8-9 on target? And we didn't deserve to win? Ha, yes, we must have been watching different games. Only for Joe Hart being superb for Birmingham, Chelsea would have pissed home.

Birmingham should have won with the goal they SCORED.

i had a problem with 'definitely deserved'.

brum were always going to set out to defend, and they did that brilliantly.

hart played a vital part, but a lot of the saves were routine enough.

cech made arguably the save of the game.

and brum had a goal controversially ruled out.

chelsea edged it, but chelsea need to do more to 'definitely deserve' to win.
