Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tying up hair...different ways?

This might sound like a stupid question but I've been growing my hair pretty long for over a year now and Im going travelling soon and don't want to cut it but need to keep it up when its hot so I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions other than the traditional hair tie/clip? I've found in the past that when I tie up my hair, the hair tie leaves a big mark in it that stays there and then forces me to trim it to get rid of the mark. I dont want a mark left in it now that ive grown it so long but its also really thick so its hard to keep up without a hair tie and I only have one clip (which is easily breakable) that will keep it up. Anyone have any suggestions?

I plait mine and then use a take the end of the plait and clip it to the top of itself so it makes a loop. Keeps it up off my neck and it means I can use regular clips 'cos it's less bulky than a ponytail.
