Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Insurance question(re: accident and notifying)

Had a wee tip yesterday, suspect it should be a fairly easy fix of tie rod/track rod - but there's a slim chance the whole steering rack might need to go, which would push the cost up into the thousands.

How long do I reasonably have to notify the insurance company, bearing in mind it happened christmas day and I spent the next 18 hours in A&E(unrelated)?

The earliest you can tell them would be Tuesday or even Wednesday.

Generally speaking, you would have up to 10 days to tell them but don't have any work done on the car before you notify them because they may wish to inspect the damage as is.
