Its early days but, It can be hard to catch up if we all keep picking the favourite outcome .

If I was to suggest something , it would be to reward the long-shot votes : eg

Amir Khan - 10 pts
Paulie - 30 pts

(by KO - 10 pts)
(by Decision - 10 pts)

I don't think anyone would have a problem if the points reflected the betting odds if not for the fact poor Cowzerp would have to go and count it all up, so for that sake it makes it much easier to keep the points the same and try and pick out 50/50 contests.

For instance the Katsidis vs Mitchell fight would have been the best pick for this weekend instead of Khan vs Malignaggi. But you can't blame Cowzerp for not using that as no one suggested that here.

Well it's a futile discussion as it's just not practical but using the best odds on offer or the average odds from http://www.oddschecker.com/boxing would have been one way to go about it.

Hi lads, what i try to do on the comp is get a mix of 50-50 fights and fights that are in the mainstream such as paulie v Khan, i actually think it could be a much closer fight than people think.

Anyway, messing about with odds etc would be bound to bring up arguments and would probably make me make lots of mistakes too!!

If wanted we could make up a set points for fights that are not so even, but i would not want them drastically different, maybe 20 for the lesser considered fighter and 10 for the favourite
