Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Equipment Insurance

Is it possible to insure your equipment (leathers, helmet etc.) against crash damage (where I am at fault). I know that quinn does not provide equipment cover in its comprehensive policy.

Presumably if you werein an accident where you were not at fault the other parties insurance company would pay out for any damage to equipment as well as the bike. Would there be any issue getting them to pay up?

I am trying to work out what how much I should spend on equipment given the replacement cost.

I think most companies cover your gear, Quinn of course don't. You're best off asking them or reading the fine print of your policy.

Carol Nash offers add-on equipment insurance. Personally I am not sure if it is worth it.
