    Doing the business post Christmas quiz and stuck with the following question.
    Which Irish actor, unlisted in the play's programme, made a surprise cameo appearance in Conor McPherson's The Birds at the Gate Theatre?

    a) Stepen Rea b) Owen Roe c) Don Wycherley

    It was Owen Roe. And it was a very good cameo indeed. Very unsettling. Pity they didn't develop his character more
