I think the Infinite Sadness shirt was an allusion to one of the comic volumes, which was named Scott Pilgrim And The Infinite Sadness (presumably as an homage to the Pumpkins album).

I did think it was fitting that Scott wears not only a Plumtree shirt but also a Scott Pilgrim shirt for a while.

Yea I'm pretty sure the book was named after the album, a section of the movie was called that too. The black t-shirt he wears with the word Zero on it is a pumpkins shirt as is this one: http://www.corpseclothing.com/merchandise-the-smashing-pumpkins-heart-ringer-t-shirt.html

Ah, interesting - hadn't copped that the SP/heart one was a Pumpkins shirt, for some reason I thought it was a Plumtree one. I should've recognized/remembered the Zero one for that matter, given how iconic it was back in the Pumpkins' heyday...

Just watched it, enjoyed it. I found the fight sequences a tad boring, repetitive

    7.5/10 from me.

Best thing about this film was more exposure for Plumtree.

    Oh, how I love Plumtree.

One thing I found that I was surprised not to come from the film itself but from the fan community was a chiptune-ish version of Plumtree's Scott Pilgrim, which I quite liked:

Nice! If you haven't heard Plumtree's superb last album This Day Won't Last I heartily recommend it, 'tis a glorious pop-rock record.

I've said it before, but Amanaguchi's game soundtrack absolutely owns the movie soundtrack IMO. Imagine the movie was entirely soundtracked by glorious chiptunes! A man can dream, oh a man can dream.
