Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Today is a Bank Holiday and the Council will not pay for work outside office hours.
We had no water for a weekend recently because the Water Services would not come out and when they finally turned up they found a major leak. This morning consumers are being urged to check for leaks etc. to conserve the Council's water supplies.
    What a bunch of hypocrites!!

The roads in Cavan was gritted on St. Stephan's Day there and there out again today. Safety is more important than saving money.

I agree with this of course. However as each county council makes its own arrangements there will naturally be some discrepancies in the level of service provided

please note as in mayo some cocos will not pay their staff to work out of hours so in some areas no service will be provided.however if enough people complain they may arrange for it to be done by someone else and pay them regardless of cost. yes you've got it they will pay anybody else except their own staff and ive seen it happen first hand.
