    Today

Cold and windy. Outbreaks of rain and sleet in southern parts, spreading northwards. Parts of the north staying largely dry during daylight hours. Highest temperatures 1 to 4 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty east to northeast winds.

    Tonight

Cold and windy. Scattered outbreaks of rain, sleet or snow. Frost and ice in sheltered places. Lowest temperatures ranging from 0 to +3 degrees and fresh to strong east to north east winds.

    Tomorrow

Cold, windy and overcast with outbreaks of rain and sleet. Snow over higher ground with a risk at lower levels too. Highest temperatures of 1 to 4 degrees in fresh to strong easterly winds.
Hmm didnt expect we would get snow tomorrow

I'd say it's 90%snow 10% sleet coming down now in South Tipp,Slievenamon must be like Alpe D'Huez.Lisa Burke on sky said it would be turned to snow in Ireland by 1800 earlier today and i think she is correct. Not sticking yet but looks like it will shortly.:)

cold rain here, if its gonna snow here theres gonna have to be many hours of heavy snowfall before it will stick, everywhere here is saturated. The rain seems to be easing off now and becoming patchier over the East.
