I feel I must share this track with you all. Sadly the band are no longer with us and I missed my last chance to see them earlier this year. Gutted.
The band is called Warning, and this track is from their 2nd album, Watching From A Distance. I discovered them a little over a year ago and this album affected me like no other has, perhaps with the exception of Nirvana when I was younger. Anyway, see what you think. Prepare to be blown away...

I have to say, wow. With the thread title, I was expecting to be disappointed, but I was anything but. Absolutely terrific. I'm really surpirsed I haven't heard of these guys either.

To Colpriz: That's a bit harsh isn't it? There is a similarity, but that's because its pretty much a concept album dealing with pain, loss & regret. From start to finish the album is an incredible journey. But hey, if you don't like it you don't like it

I was disappointed. Doom is all very samey to me. Except Agalloch.

Very Sabbathish. I was hearing an extremely fat Ozzy with some vibrato in the voice, early Sabbath chords and their latter 70's guitar sound. Good song OP and lol at your username.

Tool mixed with Black Sabbath.

I like the guitar, I am HATING the singer. Sounds like a drunk metal fan singing along to a Sabbath song on Guitar Hero.

Check out Electric Wizard if you want a good Sabbath-ish band.
