When I listed my experiences about it was in chronological order - I'm a financial controller - but also heading up the Admin side of things. 15 direct reports from accounts staff to reception.

Yeah - I would classify it as one of the better careers/professions.

I like to think of it as the Modelling world's loss and accountancy's gain! :D
I'm sure that's accurate, Abbey lee kershaw will have to do
    accept lesser male counterparts...............
Do you enjoy the work your doing now?

I had to google Abbey Lee I'm afraid, but she disappeared when she turned sideways.

As for my job - I'd prefer to be the financial controller than any of the other jobs in my department, but at the end of the day it's a job. Would love to take a year out! ;)

Absolutely - it's one of my greatest regrets. Not travelling - see, Modeling or soccer would have taken care of that.

I'd love to travel - have not been outside Europe! And quite a bit of the travel within Europe was on business :(

I was recently in Japan it's beautiful, europe is great
vienna and prague are amazing, you probably didn't get a chance
to see much with work commitments,
You should definitely go, is there anywhere you'd like to see

I've not been to any of the places you've mentioned. :(

On the bright side I've quite a number of places to experience yet :D

I don't think I'd be too adventurous, so I'm not likely to go on the back packer type holidays, but there's plenty of other places to go. Vienna and Prague would be nice! :D

It would be a good time for you to take a career break,
because you seem to have achieved what you want career wise.

Mmm - would probably be career suicide I'm afraid. Nice thought though. But odd week/fortnight should be possible. Had thought this summer was the time to get abroad, and not wait for a fourth disasterous summer in a row.

Have to hit the hay now - has been nice talking to you. Hope I've been of some help and I'll hopefully get an update from you over the next while.

Hope you can get the CAO filled and put away so you can enjoy the rest of your time off.

    All the best!

mrsexy/mrniceguy: I've already wasted too much time arguing with you on this thread. Going by your posting history, it's obvious you are trolling and have nothing of value to add here.

I would love to do accountancy but I'm not quite sure about the route to becoming a pro. Could someone give me a rundown of your qualifications? Won't be filling in my CAO for another year so I'm not losing any sleep over it but would like to know regardless. I understand you do your undergrad, but after that...

fkt, there's an Accountancy forum on boards located here. You might find answers to your questions there.

And comments like this are why you keep getting banned mrsexy/mrniceguy2/darren881.
Anyway, this thread ceased to be about accounting a long time ago. Locked.
