Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The first winner got released soon after.

The second winner is still at Chelsea in the reserves had a few loan spells last season with clubs in the lower leagues.

    Sam Hurrell.

Spent 2 years at Chelsea, but was then released. He's now at Welling United in the Conference South.

According to what I can find online the first winner was released within a year or so, and the best he did after that was play semi pro with Welling United.

The second winner signed a contract with Chelsea, then was loaned out to MK Dons last January, and has been loaned out to Northampton town this season.

I hate these programmes. Jamie Redknapp is doing this one. Doesn't Rooney have one as well??

Rooney had a Street Striker series. No football contract but a trip to the WC final in South Africa for the winner.

A girl won it this year.

Ultimately, these things work in a system where talent isn't spotted early. In football, talent is spotted early. Especially these days. West Ham don't miss players who they think are good enough. The reason these people get in by in large is after they have a few spells at clubs but dont get taken on. I'd be shocked, shocked, if anyone ever made it into the PL from one of these, unless they start taking kids on under the age of 12. Then they'd have a real chance at getting the best.

It also might work in a country where the league isn't so developed. You might find some real talent in one of those countries, by in large though, outside Europe.

They owe it all to Ian Coates!!

These shows are pretty pointless, the Rooney one is just painful veiwing you can tell that Rooney's only doing it because of a contract clause or something.
