I'm trying to find the name of a specialist tea house in Dublin which I found a link to sometime ago but never bookmarked it :(
I believe the place I'm looking for is located on the Quays though I may be wrong there.
It has traditional low tables and sells specialist teas . Thats all I can remember from the website.
    Any leads welcome!

There's also the 'House Of Tea' in The CHQ building in IFSC. Massive selection of teas there and the guys are really helpful as I find it a bit daunting when faced with such a vast array of teas to choose from! Worth a visit if you are serious about your tea:pac:

I must have past that place a thousand times!

The prices for tea for sale look good, whats it like to drink tea in there? I mean could you bring a book/newspaper in with you or is it more of a social thing.

Theres also the stall in Georges Arcade and the shop off Grafton Street.

I must say, while the tea in Tea Gardens is great and reasonably priced, nothing else on the menu is. I bought some 'potato chips' and was served a little bowl of what tasted remarkably similar to Aldi 'Ready Salted' crisps.

    The price?

    €2.50

    :(

It was a small hollowed out log of slightly soft crisps!

They always try the hard sell on the snacks for some reason. Just say no!

It's a quiet chilled out place and you can sit on your own with a book and sip your tea.
