Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Off topic, but did we ever wear that Blue kit with AIG on it?

    PIG
    ---Rafael
    Brown
    Vidic
    Evra--
    --Valencia
    Fletcher---Scholes
    Giggs--
    Rooney---Berbatov

    Is Nani injured?

3-1 United, Berba, Rooney, Giggs ; Rodallega

    headshot, love the banners!

We are looking far steadier at the back for obvious reasons and Rooney looks like going on a purple patch. Can see him getting at least one goal tonight.

    I can see a 3-0 here. Rooney (2), Valencia

Yeah I think we wore it against Arsenal, the time Henry scored the injury time winning header about 3 seasons ago.

Wigan to get revenge for earlier in the season and spank United 5-0.

Ah really 3 or 4 nil United. :pac::mad:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,247 ✭✭✭ROCKMAN

Yes starting to get a better look to the starting 11 ,
Just hope we can start putting a few decent performances together starting to night, Yes it was a good result against Hull but the performance all around the field did not fill one with confidence .
We Have been piss poor for the last few games (in-fact most of the season) and have struggled to put passes together (yes yes injuries etc ) and dominate teams .

So tonight I fully expect a win but I like a bit more than the bare result ,
    I am greedy ,I want 3/2-nil and a classic demolition job :D

No disrespect to Wigan intended , I'd want/hope for this against any team Tonight,

I'm desperately worried about this one. And I'm meant to be going out tonight and it's not on telly. Bugger.

As far as I can see,United and Wigan have played 10 times and United won all 10!? Is that right?

    3-0 united.

unless wigan figure out a different way to play.

i don't think Berba will play.

i see Owen all over this one. i don't know why.

    but yeah, i second CHD.

    g'wan the wigan.

Missed my flight for this, although I didn't try. Anyway I can see Park or maybe Nani starting on the right, giving Valencia a rest.

Anderson and Scholes in the middle maybe with Owen up front.

    Owen and Berba up front

    Hattrick for both

Rooney comes on at 65 mins

    Hattrick for him too

Obertan comes on at 85 mins and gets a late hattrick

United win 12-1, cos we don't like clean sheets any more

United to win 3-0 and as United fan will be delighted to finish the year only 2 points (hopefully) behind Chelsea only playing in second gear

But what has Bayern's defence got to do with this match?

    Easy 3-0 for us.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,369 ✭✭✭UnitedIrishman

Can see us winning something like 2-1 depending on the team. I'm sure Martinez won't be telling his team to sit back like Everton and Blackburn when they came to OT.

    Hopefully Wigan's away form continues:

"They have managed only one clean sheet in their last 15 Premier League away matches and have conceded 17 times in their last four fixtures on the road."

I cant have the same confidence other posters here have about the outcome tonight, it hasnt been a confidence inspiring United of late. But hopefully we are turning the corner with our injuries. 2-0 would be ideal, goals on the board (more accepted!) and a confidence boosting clean sheet.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 15,237 Mod ✭✭✭✭FutureGuy

... and a confidence boosting clean sheet.

Apart from a United win, thats what I am most hoping for tonight. Would be a great boost.

Hopefully Mickey Owen gets a run out at some point, haven't seen him in a while

Good team, Park is probably the weakest there at the mo

    damn you headshot

was just about to say theres a lot of energy in that team. want to see ando fletch in midfield but overall im happy with the lineup - mainly because we have a bloody defence to put out.

not that confident though and havent been in a utd result for a while now.

    Cmon united!

apologies for getting posters hopes up about a fletch-ando midfield

im happy with that line up, im surprised that obertan doesnt get a run out thou
park has pissed me off recently (but he's just from injury so he has an excuse)

    Rooney to score 2 please

Wow PP only offering 8/1 on a Rooney hat-trick. I really should get money onto betfair asap.

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Easy utd win surely. 3-0 sounds the most likely for me, although anything from 2-0 to 5-1 is likely imo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,369 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

i really thought Berba would be dropped/rested for this.

owen must wonder when on earth he's going to get another start in the League.
