As I said in my first post in this match thread ,I thought a perfromance was more important tonight , And we got one in the first half

Rooney been on fire ,
Berbs is finding his passes ,
Carrick has step up his game (about time )
Vidic has been reading the game very well
Valenica and Rafeal have been great and really add width to our game
more please

Id be happy (understanding is probably a better word) to see Rooney go off at HT or early second half. He proved again tonight he is absolutely crucial to us this season, lets get him rested for the games ahead.

I can't decide if I want Fergie to rest players for Leeds. Sure it'd be sweet to beat them with our youth team, but it'd be equally great just to knock them down 6-0 with Rooney destroying them. FA Cup 3rd round is more important than League cup semi, but playing Leeds and City in the same week is gona be bloody fun.

I think a bit of perpsective is needed, it's wigan at home and not just wigan at home, but a wigan who have no interest in the game, refuse to close players down and put no effort in after loosing the ball and constantly give it away.

Carrick will always excell when he's given twenty minutes to pick a pass.

I don't think valencia has been marked once in the whole first half.
