Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've been offered the following by RicherSounds in Belfast and it seems like a good deal. Total cost is £420stg
    • Monitor Audio Bronze reference2 Speakers
    • Cambridge Azur 340a Amplifier
    • Cambridge Azur 340c CD player

Anyone any opinions on this kit? To me they all seem pretty good, although I would appreciate anyones views on this, good or bad!

    Thanks

    Sham

It would help people give you helpful responses if you could say what your overall budget is - other wise you may find people offering alternatives which are not a realistic option. It is also presumed that you are looking for a stereo audio system only ?

    Thanks,

    Ritz.

    Thanks,

Yes, I'm looking at replacing the above components in a system, and the budget is around €500 or its stg equivalent. On paper the deal offered looks good, but I'd look other peoples opinions on the hardware I'm being offered. I'm not really interested in suggestions of alternatives at this stage.

    Thanks

I bought the 340A SE amp and 340C CD player from them earlier this year. I'm very pleased with both of them, esp. the amp which is a great bit of kit for the price and much better then my old NAD. I got the Cambridge S30 speakers so I don't know how well the Monitor speakers will pair with the rest of the kit. I'd recommend the S30 speakers. I had a pair of Wharfedale 9s and the S30s were streets ahead esp in the low end. Just make sure you get a decent set of stands to go with whatever speakers you get, makes a big difference.
