Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm heading off to a gig in ballyknockan tonight, near blessington. I was thinking of stopping off and taking some night pics before the gig starts but I have no inspiration. I thought maybe someone here may be able to give me an idea or two, I have opportunities of the lakes, will be visiting the church for a couple of shots for work so can get the outside there and the little village of ballyknockan itself has some nice parts.

Long exposures of foliage and buildings for bright colours and interesting effects.

Thanks guys. Doesn't look like the weather is letting up but I'll bring the gear just in case.

^ Lol, but earlier this week we had stunning clear skies in Donegal for 3 consecutive nights. I was all set to go get some star trails but the pub was calling louder :D

Half way there and snow is pelting down. Don't think there'll be any night shots tonight this is a danger zone
