Hello, over the past few months, my drinking has gone completely out of control (it also doesn't help my old man is an alco, but anyway, that's besides the point).

What I want to know is there any support groups out there so I can control my drinking, NOT give it up completely. All I want is that I can go out, have maybe 3 or 4 pints, and that would be it.

    Thanks.

There are no such groups as far as I'm aware...I think its 12 steppers all the way in Ireland. There's "Moderation Management" in America. I think they have an online forum thing too.

    Good luck,

Actually now that I think of it, there's a "control your drinking online" help site here: http://www.acar.net.au/online.asp Its useful. But no groups as far as I'm aware.
