Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

trying to book tickets on the website it says all seats are taken, however does this mean all prebookable seats are sold out and tickets will still be available in heuston on the day or is the train completely sold out?

Exactly. you will have to pay the full rate for a seat. You can book a seat 1hr prior to departure so if some cancels you can try to book it again.

You are only "guaranteed"* a seat if you actually reserve one. Buying an on-line ticket is invariably cheaper than buying from the station - check if there is a "Ticket only" option for that train. You risk having to stand.

    * Implementing the "get out of my seat" bit is the problem.
