I've been reading "The Demon's Lexicon" by Sarah Reese Brennan a few weeks ago and immediately fell in love with it!
Summary (taken from the back of the book):
Magicians call up demons in exchange for their poser. The demons can appear in any shape, show you marvels, promise you anything - until you invite them in and receive their mark. What happens next? Then you die.
Nick's been on the run his whole life, ever since his mother stole a charm from the most feared magician of them all, and the only person he trusts is his brother Alan. Alan's just been marked by a demon. Only Nick can sae him, but to do so he must face the magicians - and kill them. The hunt is on, and Nick's going to discover things he never dreamed were out there ...
It's the first book of a trilogy (second part's to come out in 2010) and it's not only the book yet but the author also puts up short stories about the characters on her webpage from time to time - so far there are three online.
Has anyone of you read it as well?
