D'ye reckon anything will come of those showers forming now off the coast of Wales? If you watch the animation you can see how some showers earlier had formed off the Welsh coast but didnt get time to beef up a little before hitting land again.

A bu**er - I think I'm even now too inland to get the snow showers as the wind backs more northerly! The wife was driving thru Sandyford half an hour ago and called me to say it was snowing.

Had a sleet shower an hour ago so ground is wet. Really lovely outside now, massive flakes really heavy. Grass is coated but as yet not sticking to the wet road just yet.

I think quite a few places will be white in the morning.

How accurate is that COAMPS model?

started to stick, stopped, melted on roads and has now started again but not heavy, doesn't look like it will stick if it stays at this level.

Looks like its game over, the showers are not back building, enjoy the streamer in south Dublin while it lasts. Back to cold and frosty for the next few days then here.

Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/
