    Any sleet falls will be snow when it gets anyway heavy and that is for sure. All of the East coast will get some more showers tonight of snow and hail (especiallt Dublin and Wicklow) ....will not penetrate inland to Waterford however although I hope I am wrong.....:o

    i have just looked outside the front door in rivervalley swords and the whole place is covered in snow. strangly though it is heavily raining sleet but it's sticking like mad. the car is starting to acumulate a large amount. the main thing is it is coming down more heavy in this part and i'm sure it will mellow into proper snow shortly.

    we had hard frost here pre snow, this could be good, for the ONLY and ONCE OFF reason ever, its good to be so close to the Dublin border (spitting nails now that thats been said and I've a red itchy ear)
