Lads, I'm abroad so I'm no use to an elderly relative who is trying to get this new DVDR to work with their sky box. The confusion seems to be getting the sky channels through the DVDR. Lads, I'm abroad so I'm no use to an elderly relative who is trying to get this new DVDR to work with their sky box.

The confusion seems to be getting the sky channels through the DVDR. Is this even necessary i.e. do they need to scan them? Anyway they can't seem to get all 3 to work together. The DVDR works fine when connected directly to the TV. The scart connections seems to be set up correctly.

Any suggestions on a 1,2,3 type setup? The manual does not help them.
