Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey Guys.
Got a lend of this. Found manual online, the metering is awkward, basically i just want aperture priority, but the manual states that the needle[aperture] and circle[shutter] need to be in the middle which is result of odd combinations, i just wanna keep the shutter at say 125 and move aperture about ?

    page 22

if anyone can make sense of it.
    shutter ranges from B/light, 1 to 500
    and aperture f1.8 - f16

That meter needle will let you know if its too bright or too dark.

the camera i use (fujica STX-1n) is very similar and i use it like soo...
but bare in mind im no pro at photography but it may help a little.

Set your ASA/ISO according to film being used.
Set your FStop depending on the DOF you want
Then adjust the shutter speed till needle is in central position.
If using a flash it should be set at 60

Set your ASA/ISO according to film being used.
Then adjust the shutter speed depending on the exposure length you want.
If using a flash it should be set at 60
Set your FStop depending on the DOF you want and/or to try counter act the faster shutter speed.

B/light is it will stay open aslong as you are pressing the shutter button.
Hopefully someone more pro will clear it up.

It's a match needle meter, The camera doesn't have any automatic metering modes, so you have to explicitly set the shutter speed and the aperture.

One way to do it is to operate it in a sort of 'shutter priority' way. Set your shutter speed to what you want then look through the viewfinder and adjust the aperture on the lens until the aperture needle matches the shutter needle. The shutter needle will move depending on what you have the camera pointed at, because it's the shutter needle that's coupled to the meter.

Alternatively you can do the opposite, and set the aperture you want on the lens, and change the shutter speeds until the shutter needle matches the aperture needle.
