I don't think I got a decent amount of money until my second season in the Championship and at that it wasn't great but since I reached EPL it's been at least 25m transfer budgets.

I must have a look at my early expenditure, but I remember signing a ****load of players for free. I do still have 2 players that played for me in League Two (I think*), that's very satisfying.

*One of them was actually signed when I was in League One, but he's still a starter!

Ah it's just rooting out the gems in all the muck, takes time and all have a youngster i found at age 14 who looks like he'll be a star for me in 3 years time.

The thing is, if you gained 3 consecutive promotions he may not even get a look in.

I brought Stephen O' Donnell to Luton from Galway United when I was in League 2. He's still my engine in midfield in the Championship. I have a million to spend in transfers and 18k to spend on wages. Currently sitting at 7th (after spending a good while at 1st) in the Championship but it's only January yet.

I'm filling up my 10000 odd seater stadium so I think I'll ask to expand at the end of the season.

My captain, fans player of the year for 2 years straight, oldest goalscorer at 34 years old and club favoured personel, Jude Stirling, has decided to retire at the end of the season.

He was the rock of my defense during our rise from League 2 to Championship.

I hope to keep him on as a scout.

A clean sweep this season, my first time with any club. Lucky enough in the Champions league final but got the in the end.


My facilities are still being upgraded, don't know whats taking them so long.....
Really don't need to spend big this season at all. I think i will just buy a load of under 17s and loan them out. One promising youngster scored 38 goals in the Championship last season for Brighton but he will probably be loaned out again.

Hopefully a stadium expansion is on the cards.

I have finally been placed on the clubs favoured list, still below some mediocre right back from league 2 though......

My Championship outfit, Luton Town, defeated Chelsea at Zola Stadium 5 - 6 on penalties!

I have lost every penalty shootout I have played but not this one baby!

Was hammered 10 - 2 on aggregate by Fiorentina in the Champion league Semi Finals. A good season overall apart from the disappointing result against Fiorentina and a loss in the FA Cup final to Championship side Notts County.


Still no chance of a stadium expansion as the council will not grant planning permission. A new stadium is our only hope at this stage, and as stadium sponsorship doesn't end for another 6 seasons, we probably won't see one until at least then.

New shirt sponsorship doubles our yearly income to 3.2m

Facilities for both training and youth are promised to be upgraded again.

A new DL is priority for the new season with a CM or 2 departing as some are pushing well into their 30's to make room for some promising youngsters. No youth players stand out from the current crop which is disappointing.

We are up to 26th on the World rich list and I hope to keep th evast majority of my transfer budget this season.

I have just signed a new 2 year contract at 120,000 a week

Amazing season really. I had a good feeling when I managed to land the two Argies on a free along with the other fairly high profile signings and with 60 goals between Higuaín and Newton, it was always going to be a good season. The highlight for me had to be when Newton bagged both goals in the 2-1 champions league final win over Atlético Madrid or turning over the 1-0 deficit from the Nou Camp in the semis.

The board have just announced that they are to start expansion of the stadium and upgrade the training and youth facilities

What size expansion are you getting L'Prof, I'm stuck at just over 29.000 and have sold out 3 seasons in a row. Will probably have to wait another 7 seasons until stadium sponsorship runs out.
