Too many have, to be honest.

People are losing jobs (and hours) all over the country. Almost every subject has a glut of qualified teachers all looking for the same few hours/positions.
Still, if it's what you really want to do and you don't mind waiting up to ten years to get any sort of reasonable income or security, it's the best job in the world.
