    Woke up to a -4.7c half an hour ago, but a sharp fall since, now currently at -5.4c. Very frosty and very white outside. Who needs snow when this splender is here right now.

    Thaw happening in south dublin at the moment. Definite temp rise in the last hour. Traffic speeding up, some cloud and very light sleet(more like rain) in the last few minutes. If its to be as cold as suggested tonight, this will make driving conditions very very bad tomorrow is this all freezes.

    Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

    The cold just about hanging on here, +1c with snow still on the branches of trees but from what I'm seeing elsewhere there should be a bit of a thaw later:mad:
    These troughs that move down from the north always have a bubble of warm air embedded (warm sector) don't they?
