Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Private sell

    Hi,
I'm looking for some advice on selling my car privately. It's a 02 honda civic hatchback, 1.6 petrol and has just under 119k miles on it. It's in good condition, but am a bit worried about selling it privately. Are there any dangers or can someone come back to me later if something goes wrong? Is there any documentation I need for this.
    Thanks a million!

I believe it is an offence for anyone to sell a car which in a dangerous condition, e.g. dangerously defective steering or brakes, structural corrosion, etc unless the buyer is made fully aware prior to sale. Consumer law does not apply as you are not selling as a business. The buyer is not entitled to any warranty/guarantee unless you offer one as part of the sale contract.
