Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all, I hope that I am posting this in the right place. I have had a couple of disastrous years with e-commerce. Tell ye all later. Anyway I was sold this Magento E-commerce platform around October. I am at present uploading products and information to the site. Is there anybody who can guide me in the product seo information department, in relation to the type of information i am putting in. I can pm people with the PM if anybody can help. I don't want to find that I have wasted hours and hours of time on the site with nothing happening. If there is anybody that could give me any help I would appreciate it. There may be other issues to discuss later.

    Hi,

I have a lot of experience with e-commerce websites and Seo happens to be something I am very good at. shoot me a Pm and i'll give you a hand. You will need to tell me the type of products you are selling and in what niche and I will have to look at the site also to see if you have anything done with it in terms of seo. What you will mainly be doing is using the appropriate keywords that you can drive traffic to your site from and using a good linking structure to make sure your site can be indexed easily by google. Well actually thats only the start of it really.

Chances are that Magento is pretty easily indexable by Google. Ranking requires both Authority and Relevance. So listing, say, an iPhone on your ecommerce store may create relevance to a search for "iphone online" but authority is developed through an entirely different process, which is far more longer term.
