I think the deaths of Tom Jordan & Karl Shiels will have totally knocked the producers' plans for the 30th Anniversary on the head

I'm guessing;

Charlie dies while in Canada.
Robbie dies while abroad, from either SADS or car accident

I think they'll have Robbie dying first as Charlie being in Canada means they can put off having him die whereas Robbie's prolonged absence would be more difficult to explain.

Other predictions;

The Loan Shark storyline will drag on with either Erica being kidnapped on her and Darragh's Wedding Day (a la Rita in Corrie) or Sharon/Hayley being taken.

Niamh or, more likely, Nicola return and take on Fiona.

One of the Doyle kids come back. I'd love Yvonne back.

The Bishops and Dolores find out about Sash being Orla's surrogate.

The Collins' debt story will drag on and on and on. Lee will come clean to Carol about blowing her five grand on Anto's ''dead cert'' and ask for her help when the loan shark starts to pile on the pressure. It'll turn out that the loan shark is connected to one of Carol's gangland mates or enemies and a new Carol/Gangland saga will kick off.

Erica will play mind games with Darragh, then jilt him at the altar. Afterwards, she'll probably go into bunny boiler/stalker mode when he rejects her after she tries to get back with him.

Will and Cristiano split up.

Fiona drags Orla into her dodgy dealings by using the walking tours as a front for illegal activities.

Pete and Renee will have an affair.

I think they could go down a domestic/emotional abuse storyline with them. Will becoming more controlling and manipulative. Cristiano is a bit more isolated now that his brother Jake ,who never liked or trusted Will, is back in Chile and his best friend Kerrie-Anne is dead. They've never done an abusive same-sex relationship storyline before so it would be very interesting.

At least I was right about something!

Thank God the first phase of the loan shark story ended earlier than I expected. I thought it was going to drag on for months and months with Lee and Darragh being hounded by Aidan . It will be interesting when Tina Kellegher's character (Sharon's Sister) comes back into it and they delve into the family history. Has Anto noticed that Sharon's Engagement Ring is still missing?
