Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Firefox - Multiple Image Downloader

    Hey all,

just wondering if anyone can help me out here. I reformatted my PC about an hour ago and I'm going through the process of getting all the programs I use regularly again.

Anyway, i had an image download (possibly a firefox Add-on, but I'm not entirely sure) and I forgot to get the name of it.

I remember one of it's functions was called "suck this thread", in which it allowed you to go onto a thread on a forum, and download all the images in that thread, or just on particular pages of the thread. It was extremely useful. It also didn't download thumbnails, but instead linked back to the sites hosting the pictures, and downloaded the full sized picture from there.

I was just wondering if anyone can help me identify what program (or add-on) i was using?

I know there is an add-on called "Bulk Image Downloader" but I don't think that's the one. There's also a "Batch Image Downloader" but I don't think that's it either.

Just thought I'd put up a post incase anyone recognised it from my terribly poor description, and could give me the name, so i could get it again.

    Cheers :)

    DownThemAll?

I actually have DownThemAll, but I only use it for when i want to download more than one file at a time (rapidshare, etc.) I didn't even know it could do photos.

On the subject of DownThemAll, does anyone know how you add more than one file/link at a time to it? I can't figure it out.

But anyway, no, it's not DownThemAll that i used for photographs. I've tried googling "Suck The Thread Image Downloader" and other variations, but just keep getting results for forums where people say things like "this thread sucks", etc. :( (ironically, this thread is often the first thing in the search results. It feels like FireFox is laughing at me) :pac:

For downthemall and rapidshare use the Linkifaction addon. But downthemall isn't that good. It sometimes downloads a files stop it before it finidhes and then lose it. This eats up your bandwidth
