Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He'd probably blame it on the FAI.

Making the point that goal was similar to Henrys (minus the hand assist), byline assist off a long set piece. Should Reina have come for cross?

Great run from Kuyt , did more than enough to put the keeper off. Shocking defending, the guy runnign with him didnt bother his hole and just decided to hope he was called offside.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,519 ✭✭✭✭noodler

He hasn't been playing well of late but that is a great run by Dirk - really makes the goal.

    Very well-timed.

Are you watching the game? Are you aware of the rules of football?

Whats the problem then? He was well onside.

It was a smart ball in by Gerrard, it gave Dirk a chance which he didn't take (deliberately ?) and gave the keeper a difficult decision to make.

it looked 50 50 to me .he looks a bit slightly offside just as the ball is passed though.i thought it was going to be given as offside as im sure others were.that is all.no problem there unless ya have one .

Imagine how many goals we would have beaten United by had we not been so poor.

    Frightening, isn't it ?

ooh pity it wasnt gerrard or torres there

I wasn't saying anything about that, someone always has to bring it in

I was just saying how Liverpool are underperforming, with the team thats out they should be walking all over reading yet can't seem to get a hold of the game at all. No doubt they will win this in the end up, but its just such a poor performance.

Torres back to his best. That goal against Villa was the perfect tonic.

I am sorry but he doesn't look offside in the replays, not even a little.

The rule is, in case you don't know, based on where the player is the moment the ball hits the boot of the passer/shooter. Kuyt is easily onside at this moment.

If you are saying we are fortunate that the linesman was astute enough to make the right decision well that is another story.

torres did well there, nice free, should have done better.

What a great pass from Lucas onto Torres to win that free kick

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,971 ✭✭✭Holsten

Lucas best of the 1st half? I think so!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,435 ✭✭✭ilovelamp2000

In the second half, if we play like we have since the goal we'll win this fairly handily.

I backed Reading half time, draw full time. Reading will hopefully blaze out of the blocks and then revert to form allowing Liverpool to equalise second half.
