Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    .

My first thought was that he could have ceaned it up handy enough. VDS would have. Yes the defendign was poor, but that's no excuse for the keeper to follow suit.

That was a super clearance. Too many players, even at the tp level wouldnt have bothered chasing that.

    Great play.

Rooney unlucky the keeper took the power out of the ball.

Great to hear the Leeds fans outsinging the home fans. It's more like the Library of Dreams at that place at times.

Leeds should be a couple of goals up here!!

Not sure if it was going in if he didnt though. It took a wild swing goalwards after it hit him.

Leeds could have three here, if it wasn't for their finishing.

Who was declaring a 5-1 victory? How many bumps/tackles are the Utd MF commiting without getting punished?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,209 ✭✭✭Redzer7

C'mon the Leeds :), Cool finish from Beckford.

A good old fashioned rip roaring cup tie, you'd never think there were 2 divisions separating the teams

Physical game mike, it's not basketball.

About time a Ref looked at it like that.

Only dipping into the game before the goal with cricket and SPL on, but it's a fairly chaotic game

Which is a bad thing for Leeds if they don't take more chances. They look like the energy levels are at the max already

Did I notice a red shirt under the ref's black top ?

I can see Giggs & Valencia on in the 2nd half, switching Obertan to the left.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,455 ✭✭✭anplaya

obertan giving away the ball alot, seems t be showboating a bit instead of doing the basics.

I think he's just giving the ball away. I haven't really seen him do anything that could be considered showboating.

litlte flicked passes instead of straightforward ones, like the one he played back to neville which led to brown getting booked.going forward and then going back on himself, trying to beat same man twice rather than being direct and putting cross in.stuff like that.

Brown should be off for that, second yellow for following through with his left foot.

  • Registered Users Posts: 452 ✭✭Jimmyboss

How the fcuk is Brown still on the park?????????

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,435 ✭✭✭✭redout

    Beckford is a real handful.

Remember watching him against Liverpool in the Carling cup were he impressed.

He looks too good for a League 1 side.

Ah come on. It was a tough tackle, but he won the ball. If you start getting yellows for that, you might as well just start buying your basketball jerseys

    Yes. He should.

Two footed challenges like that are a yellow every time these days. If he hadn't just been given a yellow for a knee high challenge he would have got one for sure. It was a stupid challenge and the ref chickened out.

Fair enough if he hadn't of scissored his left foot through as well, but he did. Yellow.

    It wasn't a 2 footed challenge.
