Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i was going to buy a SSD, but the performance just doesn't warrant the cost.
    not for my use anyway.

so ive decided, since i have 8gb of ram, im going to setup a RAMdisk.

my main use will be temp files and cache from firefox, and occasionally installing software from hard disks etc and of course as a swap space when needed.

i was thinking of making a 4gb disk, and leaving my pc with 4gb of ram.

i dont think i really need more than 4gb since the most i do is play l4d2, mw2, crysis etc.

so, any reccomendations on how to go about it?

ive done some reading, and i think it would benefit me a nice bit.

from reading around, i think dataram would be the best software to use
